Silence Of The Lambs (1991)
In this 1991 film adaptation of the Thomas Harris novel, “The Silence of the Lambs,” the young and sensitive F.B.I. cadet Clarice Starling has been assigned to assist in the manhunt for a sadistic serial killer nicknamed “Buffalo Bill,” who is known for skinning his victims alive.
Hoping to understand how the killer’s mind works, Starling visits imprisoned psychiatrist-turned-mass-murderer Dr. Hannibal Lecter, who had once treated Buffalo Bill. He teaches Clarice how to think … like a killer. This psychological horror is one of the best thriller movies of all time.
Director Dan Gilroy’s second feature is a throwback to 1970s cinema, with a gritty neo-noir feel and dynamic camerawork. Lou Bloom is a petty thief who stumbles into the night crawling scene, which involves freelance TV news crews filming accidents for cash.
Equipped with an ambitious new girlfriend who is also his coworker, an expensive camera, and a devil-may-care attitude, Lou swoops in for the kill — literally — and becomes an overnight sensation. Cole Hauser co-stars as an aggressive rival who wears his lack of morality-like armor.
With its uncompromising look at the savagery of money-making in modern-day Los Angeles, this still-relevant crime drama will leave audiences spellbound.

Inside Man (2006)
Inside Man’s story follows a new approach to the genre of bank heist movies because of its intricate plot, which allows for a variety of conflicts.
The protagonist is an African-American ex-marine police detective who must convince the primary antagonist, an Afro-Caribbean criminal, to bargain for the lives of hostages held in the bank by their leader. A third major character that makes Inside Man unique is Madeline White, a hostage negotiator.
There is also a subplot involving the poor police detective Keith Frazier, who relates to Dalton Russell personally because they share common traits. Throughout the movie, there are flashbacks of Dalton and Mr. Case’s past together.
It allows us to catch glimpses into what motivates each character and aids in increasing our insight into their decisions.
Rear Window (1954)
The Rear Window is one of Alfred Hitchcock’s most beloved films and one of the best thriller movies of all time. Masterfully shot with a tense and intimate feeling, the film is wonderfully paced, making it accessible to any viewer.

But when a frightening murder takes place across the courtyard from Jeff’s apartment, they must come to grips with their own voyeuristic and potentially dangerous behavior.

This film follows him on his mission, talking about the murderer over the phone with his pal Teddy and writing down things on bits of paper that are supposed to make sense when put together.
Vertigo follows Scottie Ferguson, a retired detective living in San Francisco who has acrophobia or an extreme fear of heights.

obsession begins to form in his heart as he finds himself falling for her and fighting feelings of terror. Who is she? How far will he go to save her? And why does the heart want what it can’t have?

The film tells the story of a professional safecracker who a crime overlord hires to knock off several major jewelry heists. The broker thinks that Frank can’t be identified or turned in to the police because he is so good at his chosen profession.
However, this particular criminal genius has forgotten that there are two basic ingredients necessary for a successful operation: proper planning and not underestimating one’s adversary. As expected, the gangster proves to be quite vulnerable in these areas.
